David Myles

David Myles was born in Fredericton New Brunswick, May 12 1981. He is 34 years old now. He performs what he likes to call, "root" music, also known as folk jazz. He has many songs to listen to, such as: So Blind (2013), When It Comes My Turn (2006), Turn Time Off (2010), and much more.

David went to Mount Allison University, located in Sackville NB, and graduated in 2003. As far as jobs go, David Myles was deep into songwriting, and recording. He is the youngest of three other brothers, and had strict, but kind parents who also were avid music lovers.

Some facts about David are, his family insisted that the path forward wasn’t through music, but through higher education, and impressed on the brothers they should get a degree in something sensible; music was just for fun. His brothers followed that path: One is a medical doctor, and two have PhD’s. He also played the guitar, and the trumpet until he decided to continue his career in music. In 2011, he received five nominations in the East Coast Music Awards and was nominated for a Music New Brunswick award. He is featured in the song, Inner Ninja, link below.
